Own the boots that conquered the World. Our Caligae are each CUSTOM MADE to each buyer using the same pattern as Roman Re-enactors all over the world. We use Vegetable Tanned Leather to make all our Caligae.

Each amazingly comfortable pair is unique. CUSTOM MADE to your feet from a trace, provided at the end of the auction.

I am one of the very few people who make Caligae to sell to the general public.

Don't be fooled by mass produced "Roman Footwear", one size does not fit all. Only a pair of Caligae made for your feet will give a comfortable and lasting fit. If you want accurate Roman Footwear, pay attention to the design of your Caligae. Caligae did not close over the toe, and any pair that do are NOT designed properly. Get a poorly designed, mass produced, ill fitting pair, and save a few dollars, or get a CUSTOM MADE accurate, well fitted pair.
